About Your Chef

While obtaining his degree in the field, Chef Chris made the decision to turn his passion into a career. He completed his internship with Bella Milano and was hired right out of culinary school. It was here that his education of cooking flourished with the ability to cook from scratch, while also having the freedom to be creative. In 2012, Bella Milano opened a new location in O'Fallon, Illinois where he was promoted to Sous Chef.

Now, Chef Chris wants to share his passion with you on a personal level. He believes in Family, Faith, Fitness, Food, and Fun. In today's world, people don't always have time to plan a meal, shop for groceries, cook dinner, and clean up afterwards. Chef Chris realizes your time is valuable and wants to give back some of that time to you and your family.

Chef Chris was born and raised in Alton, Illinois. He graduated from Alton High School and joined the Marine Corps at the age of 17. During his time in the Marine Corps, he earned the rank of Sergeant while serving as an American Embassy Security Guard in Jamaica, Russia, and Finland.   He returned to his hometown where he began his journey to become a personal chef.

It was during this time that cooking as a hobby and necessity turned into a passion, which continues to grow. He attended the Culinary Arts Program at Southwestern Illinois College where he graduated in 2008 with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and Food Management.

ChrisB's Culinary Creations is a licensed personal chef service. Chef Chris is also sanitation certified through the State of Illinois. We abide by the United State Personal Chef Association (USPCA) Code of Ethics.
